SITE RULES JOINING--> please, keep your username in all lower-case letters, just to give the site a nice touch. when you create your first character, we ask that you wait to be accepted before you begin to role-play. and last, but not least, no perfect characters. they all have flaws, whether it be physical, personal, or emotional. what ever. just keep things fun. CHARACTERS--> characters need to be realistic on the site, so we ask that they all have flaws, secrets, life stories - et cetera. please do not steal a character from anyone. make your own characters. no mary sues, or larry stues; if to many personality types are being made, a ban will be placed on these type of dogs. Also, take note to how many dogs of each alliance is made, and how many males or females exist. we want to keep the site even, it's more fun that way - so please help us keep it fun for everyone. GRAPHICS--> crediting graphics is a must, whether it be a manip, a line art, or a stock image used as a reference. line arts must have permission from the creator to be used on the site. as a manipulator, you must have all your pictures as stock images. if you do not properly credit who's picture you are using, you will be warned. if you are caught using stolen pictures you will be banned for a month, and if it continues, you'll be banned permanently. Also, please keep the dimensions of a signature at a maximum of 500 pixels wide and 300 pixels tall.

IN-CHARACTER POSTING RULES
POSTS--> we all have bad days occasionally, and I can understand that as well as anyone else, so the minimum word count is one hundred and twenty five words (125). It's not a lot, so we're hoping everyone can make it just fine. we ask that you post as often as you can, and as a warning for now, any threads that are inactive for a month will be moved to the archives. you can ask a staff, however, to move it out again for you, and we will be happy to do so. WRITING--> please keep all posts in third person, as it makes it easier to read & respond to your threads. as for first & second person threads, you are aloud to have them for birthing threads, and one shot threads. any threads that are found to be in first or second person and are not a one shot thread, and that member will be asked to convert it into third person. also, no text talk, as it annoys allot of the more advanced role players, and this is a semi advanced to advanced site. THREADS--> please take note to whether threads say open, if they have a closed tag, or a reserved tag. if a thread is open, but there are already two pages worth of posts, please be considerate and not jump in - or at least ask before you jump in. if a thread is closed, or reserved, you may ask the members of the thread if you may join - but if they say no, please understand and respect that. Thank you. When a thread is finished, please edit the title to say [closed] or pm a staff member with a link to the thread so they may move it to archives. TABLES/ETC--> all tables that are used in threads by your character must be properly credited to creator, and providers of images. but please do not let this detain you from using tables, and other forms of color and symbols to spice up your posts. they make them interesting. please note, however, that coding does not count towards the 125 word minimum. CHARACTER SPEECH--> we can understand if you have a character with a love for being evil, or one who likes to appear big and bad, but please be careful for the amount of cussing in your posts, so we do not offend members, or anything along those lines. we want to make this place welcoming, not turn others against it.

CHARACTER RULES CHARACTER AMOUNTS--> for fear of having members make to many characters and fall inactive, there will be a starting limit of 6 characters per member. however, you may ask the staff permission to make more if you think you can keep up with them all. the staff may reject you, however, so keep that in mind during any requests. MALES--> male dogs are almost always larger than the females of their breed. They're the only ones allowed to claim land. Males can breed at age 1 1/2, but should wait until they're two. they are allowed to force dogs back to their packs, and they are usually the ones who fight for anything. FEMALES--> females are usually smaller than males of their breed. they can claim land, but it is extremely rare, so they only usual rule when they have a mate who is the alpha. they can breed at 2, but should wait till their between 2 and 2 1/2. They cannot force dogs back to the pack, though they may ask them to join. They only fight for pups and ranks, in most occasions. PUPS--> pups are the weakest dogs on the site. They are more prone to disasters, and animal attacks. they must be watched carefully. they can be stolen by another dog, though at the risk of said dog. they cannot claim land, or try to bring dogs back to the pack. if a player is not found for a pup by the time it is 1, the pup will be considered dead. AGING--> dogs age according to the seasons/years. you can choose their age when you create the character, so decide on a season they were born in. from then on, please age your character one year each time that season comes around again. MATES--> we request that you do not mate with your own character. all mates are to be male/female unless with special permission from the staff members to ensure that we don't have to many of these sort of relationships running around. mates may be from different packs, but it is up to the players as to how that would work out. BREEDING/BIRTHING--> breeding and birthing are not to be explicit. there is no number of threads you must be in before you can have pups, but we do ask that you be mates, or be in some sort of relationship for pups. force-breeding is allowed. however, if too many rapes occur it will be made that it must be checked by staff members before that type of plotting may be put into action. the pup limit for now is five per litter. EXTINCT BREEDS--> dogs of extinct breeds may only be made with staff permission. all of the staff must agree, so it may take time to get the okay. we do not want a lot of these, so you may be denied, and certain restraints may be put into actions when it comes to extinct breeds. PACKS--> there are three packs, that is all. please don't ask us if you can make another pack, because unless you have a fantastic plot, we will say no. if a dog is not part of one of these packs, then they are a loner. loners are more prone to attacks and disasters then pack dogs. please try and keep up with the pack you are a part of. HUNTING--> hunting will always be more successful in a pack. However, as a single individual there may be some chance to successfully kill. do not be greedy however, and please do not make your character be the strong one who will always succeed. Keep it realistic, please.

PACK RULES
CHALLENGE--> when challenging for a land, you must have been a member for a month, and must be in at least two active threads. main packs may not be challenged for until a month and a half has passed since the new leader took up the job. thanks guys <3 FIGHTING THE CHALLENGER--> any pack may be challenged if the leader of the pack chooses to plan a plot with you. all challenges (land, females, pups, et cetera) must be fought out if accepted by the challenged. if the challenged does not accept - they forfeit what is being challenged for. fights will consist of four attacks and two dodges. Once the fight has been played out - two staff members will judge and choose the winner of the fight. Past fights, health, age, and experience will be taken into account. MEMBERS--> all members of the pack must be loyal to the pack (or be a spy). they must respond to all pack meetings, and are asked to keep up posting in the pack lands. if a main pack is void of activity for 3 weeks - auditions will be held for a new leader. INDIVIDUAL PACK RULES--> the leader of the pack may make its own rules, however, they must be reasonable with in the surrounding personality of the pack. for example, the Iridian would not let the Soriyan in, and visa versa. ACTIVITY--> as stated previously, activity in packs is a must. the main three packs must be kept active, or the leader will be removed after 3 weeks of inactivity, and a new dog will take control. if you lead a main pack, even if you post an away notice (unless it gives a good reason for why you will be gone for three weeks) and there are no active threads, then the main packs will be given to a new dog to lead.
